Moama Local Aboriginal Land Council

The Moama Local Aboriginal Land Council ("MLALC" or "Charity") provided planning to the local Aboriginal community. The community developed a "Community, Land & Business Plan". The MLALC is incorporated under the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983 (ALRA). The charity activities highlighted in section 9 of this report helped achieve the charity's purpose by: - Improving social, economical and environmental access, service and opportunities for local Aboriginal people and families; - Creating training and employment opportunities; - Managing low cost housing for Aboriginal Community; - Providing and enhancing Aboriginal cultural heritage management - Providing income management services to community - Providing access to support services for community (i.e. domestic violence, aged care assistance, youth development etc.) - Developing partnerships with government and philanthropic agencies
